Nature lovers, you want to discover the ornithological world of the bay of Mont-Saint-Michel.
Throughout 2024, several activities are planned and organized by Sébastien Provost, a professional ornithologist guide. He will share his passion for birds. More than 350 species of birds are observed in the bay of Mont-Saint-Michel thanks to the diversity of natural environments (cliff, pre-salt, mudflats and sandy beaches... )
Your guide will take you to the best observation sites according to the seasons, tides and ornithological opportunities. The activities are aimed at a wide audience, and some free animations are also offered
Many other outings are planned throughout the year. Nearly 20 themes of activities are proposed for groups of 6 to 8 people on board the "Birding Bus". With pedagogy, humor and professionalism, Sébastien will teach you to recognize the black scoter, brant, curlew, warbler pitchou.... You will know almost everything...about wild birds, their calls, their migrations, their nesting methods...
The coastline of Mont-Saint-Michel is a perfect playground for ornithologists, Sébastien scrutinized the nooks and crannies and saw 313 different species in 20 years of practice. Indeed the bay of Mont-Saint-Michel is a crossroads for bird migration with the largest mudflats in the country.

5- "LES SEPT-ÎLES EN VOILIER": Aboard the schooner "Fillao", set off for 4 hours of navigation to discover one of the most beautiful colonies of nesting seabirds in France: the emblematic puffin monk, murres and penguins, the incredible colony of gannets or the grey seal.

6- "THE STORKS OF THE COTENTIN": In Normandy, the remains of the castle of the River are occupied each year by a colony of storks. During the nesting period, the show is provided by the birds!
