Cycling between Ducey and Mont St Michel

Last stage of the Paris veloscie> Mont Saint-Michel, between Ducey and the Mont is a superb course that you will lead to the Bay of Mont Saint-Michel before arriving at Mont. It's an easy step, without any significant difference in altitude, length of 31,1kms. This route starts in Ducey, Chateau des Montgommery and allows to see and cross pretty villages, to go along the salt marshes and continue on its way to Mont Saint-Michel, which you can see in the distance on a good part of the stage.
It is recommended to make the detour to the Roche Torin to enjoy the view of the Bay of Mont Saint-Michel.
Accessible by a road closed to the car traffic, you will see the Mont and Tombelaine in the immense Bay which opens in front of you. Dunes and sandy beach allow to rest a little before finishing the stage. You will not miss to meet the many pre-salt sheep grazing peacefully, freely on the beach, and sometimes cross to the shepherds.
You can also choose to come back from Roche Torin to take a night in our guest house before discovering Mont Saint-Michel the next day. We provide on reservation a meal tray service, as well as picnic baskets and have all the necessary cleaning and repair of your bikes.
During the summer, access to the Mont is from the shuttles and bicycles can be parked in the car park. It is also possible to finish the walk (about 2.5kms) on the bridge.
Do not miss this stage which from the green Norman countryside will take you to the Mount between sky and sea and you will be enchanted with its changing colors.
